The Eucharistic Body and Blood provide nourishment for our lives of faith. Second grade students enrolled in our Religious Ed program begin preparation for sacrament of Eucharist with a series of six (6) workshops on Saturday mornings. Parents are encouraged to attend the parent education sessions to enable them to grow in their own understanding of the Eucharist and to assist in the preparation of their child for the Sacrament. The parents are asked to work at home to assist the catechists in their child’s education. All sessions begin at 9:30 AM and end at 12 noon. Parents are asked to be present at the 11:30 AM prayer service that closes the morning. The Sacrament of First Eucharist will be held in May. Please Note: Baptismal certificate/copy is needed unless child was baptized at St. Joseph the Worker.
