Choir of St. Joseph the Worker
The choir serves as an integral part of the liturgies at St. Joseph the Worker Church. Their voices represent a very wide spectrum of our parish. The choir sings at the 10:00 AM liturgy and is joined by the Children’s Choir throughout the church year.
Our parish is truly blessed with such a vast amount of talent. During special occasions the choir is joined by our string sextet made up of talented musicians of our parish. The choir season is from September through June and rehearsals begin in August and end in the beginning of June.
On October 16, 2005, the church dedicated the new organ and piano with a special blessing of the memorial plaques dedicated in memory by those who contributed so generously to the music fund. A Dedication Concert was presented featuring solo organ works by former Director of Worship Services Timothy Davenport, the Clinton String Quartet and the Choir of St. Joseph the Worker.
